Another great gig last night. The band were working through a lot of repertoire that we have been rehearsing for our forthcoming recording, and some of the pieces were really sparkling. Paul Busby’s Major Peter Peters Out was particularly brilliant as well as features from Jon, Martijn and Simon. Jaqui was great on vocals with a really bluesy sound last night. Many thanks to our handful of deps who were helping out: Buster Birch (drums) Paul Satchwell, Phil Laybourn (Trombones) Ben Davies (Piano) Phil Paton (Alto). Also a big thank you to Ali who played Bari for the first time ever last night and did a fantastic job of it!
